For reasons too dull to dwell on, I found myself with some free time in Fife last Friday so night down to Culross to enjoy the sun and take some pictures. It was a brief visit, nothing spectacular photo wise but if you ever want a shot on a railway line it’s the place to go!
As ever, all these images are available for free hi-res download from MorgueFile.
OK, perhaps a little (a lot) heavy handed with the post-processing but this was done deliberately to create a good image to represent climate change (in a stock context).
I think the train line only serves the power station so it is very quiet. I didn’t hang about long nonetheless.
Culross is most famous for the palace which, on a sunny night, looks very mediterranean.
How the sunset on Longannet Power Station looked before I hit the ‘make it red’ button.
They are raising money to try to repair this old walkway.
Hopefully you like this one, I had to lie on the ground in a white shirt to take it!
Another shot of the tracks from a less precarious position.
Nice sunset colours in the water.
Well, I liked it, nice detail and shadows. Albeit, admittedly, quite dull really!
Nice work as always, Scott. I particularly like the power station and palace windows shots.
