Had the opportunity for a long stroll across Edinburgh in some very nice sun. Obviously it was also windy and freezing but I had a hat. And a snood.
Here’s a few of the images I took as I strolled.
Princes Street isn’t what it used to be. Lots of empty units, lots of rubbish shops. This shot sums up how it is at the moment.
I heard the siren and waited to click as it passed, wish I got it blurred though!
Not everyone was enjoying the sun, this guy was having trouble reading his phone.
It’s not easy getting even a vaguely different shot of Edinburgh Castle. So I processed the hell out of this!
Just after midday, or was it?
I wasn’t the only one out strolling.
Or, indeed, The Kings’ Door.
Don’t think my Leith blacksmith forebears would recognise any of this.
And for a final slash of colour, a blue door.
Cracking mono shots of Edinburgh. But by far my favourite is the blue door. Perfect.
